Step 7 - How to make the Weight Plates

  1. When the concrete starts to set (about 20 minutes)
    Make a hole Set the pvc pipe in
    ,  insert the pvc sleeve


    When the concrete firms up just a little bit, use your trowel to scoop a 3 inch wide hole right in the middle of the plate.

    Stuff paper tissue (a.k., kleenex) or paper towel into the pipe to keep most of the concrete out,

     Before the hole fills back in, set the cut piece of pvc pipe into it. 

    Then use the trowel to push the wet concrete back against the pipe and smooth everything.
