Step 3 - How to make the Weight Plates

  1. Fill the mold (oil pan)
    Mix the concrete 


    Use the trowel to fill the mold (oil pan) with dry concrete mix. Weigh it to make sure you've go the approximate weight right.  You can stand on the scale holding the mold and then stand on it without and subtract one from the other.

    The water will add some weight (1 to 7 lbs depending upon the size of the plate you are making, so just aim for about 4 lbs less, then you can add more later if needed
