Step 6 - How to make the Weight Plates

  1. Cut the PVC pipe to lengthcut the pvc pipe
    While the concrete firms up a bit, measure the depth (or thickness) of the concrete plate and cut a piece of PVC pipe just a quarter inch or so longer.


    Don't go all obsessive-compulsive about it.  It does NOT need to be exact.  And it is good to be a bit bigger so the pipe will protrude from the surface of the plate and prevent the plates from banging against each other. 

    They're concrete, not metal, so they should not be dropped nor banged against each other during use.
